    lol. when do you want to use mop up pitchers? should it be double digit lead in the 8th? or shall we just continue to waste barnes/workman bullets? apparently no one thinks that's a fair question or fair criticism. cool.

    it's never the managers fault maxbialystock. for 3 years it was never JF's fault either. also, one could argue we were trying to "salvage" one of those games because of WTF Cora. but he doesnt throw the pitches or swing the bats or field the ball or run the bases, right?

    if that is the case - weber should not even be on the roster. it is on DD to have someone that can be used in mop up. im sorry, a 6 run lead in the 8th inning against the '29 yankees is still "mop up". get a couple runs in? then it's time to bring in the horses.

    in a couple years in order to minimize carbon footprint east coast teams will no longer be playing west coast teams. nobody will cross the mississippi river for a game outside of postseason.

    he was slow to react in the Cleveland game. you know that. so is this an over correction? then it still qualifies as WTF Cora. if we can't even try to have our mop up guys eat an inning or 2 late in a game when we are up by 6 runs then our RP arms will certainly be dead by the end of the season. but yes, it was a game we badly needed. for sure.

    you saw the rain when Barnes was pitching. no reason to bring him in there. he had zero grip on his CB and couldnt throw strikes. let one of the mop up guys pitch that inning. if they get into trouble then you go to Barnes. to me it's dumb to burn an inning of Barnes in an 8-2 baseball game. we will need those bullets in other games. i dont know how else to explain it.

    perhaps if you expect JBj not to come up to his norm. but does JDM back/possibly injury > JBj's offense?? i dont know. i like JDM in the lineup hitting. i like JBj in the OF catching stuff. i think both in the lineup makes us stronger. but i dont like the idea of losing JDM to a strain/pull/tear because of running around the OF chasing ballz...

    i think we are all worried about the amount of innings we are looking at for our relievers this year. put colten/taylor/shawaryn in a game we are winning 8-2 in the 8th inning. they could use the work/experience. Barnes/Workman are still out there if they get in trouble.

    if i had to guess it was more of a "mindset" than anything. we just came off a parade and were busy jerking ourselves off. perhaps not enough work was done in the offseason because of this? perhaps the focus was not fully there during ST and teh first few weeks of the season? perhaps the slap in the face that a .500 record at the begininng of June will help to refocus us? WTF Cora should have flipped the postgame spread weeks ago. we need to feast on the KC's of the league and pile up some Dubs.

    WTF Cora almost found a way to blow last nights game. putting barnes on the bump after blowing the game open in the top of the 8th was rookie.

    i love this. i would actually take it 1 step further and completely do away with divisions. balanced schedule 1 thru 15 in each league. top 6 in each make the postseason. round 1 (3 game series) 3 v 6 4 v 5 round 2 (5 game series) 1 vs lowest remaining 2 vs highest remaining round 3 (7 game series) minimum 3 days off before the SUPERGAME. SUPERGAME World Champion (1 game - winner take all - at neutral site) 5pm start on a Sunday. AL Champ vs NL Champ
