no. throw away the results of the bullpen. i am arguing that removing Price after 5 innings with only 73 pitches and 1 Earned Run was stupid. whatever happened after that isnt my point. the fact of actually removing a "Ace" starter after 5ip / 73 pitches 5 days after he only threw 49 pitches is....negligent.

agreed...7 innings is what he probably would have went. push those 0 runs from the relievers out another 2 innings. even if we dont do that....why are we defending pulling our $31MM starter after 73 pitches vs a top tier opponent when he has only given up 1 run???

if by "preventive measure" you mean preventing a W for our team then yes. agreed. but to pull him at 73 pitches in a game where he only has given up 1 run so far because he had nothing 5 days prior is just asinine.
