  1. I will seriously question any team that signs him (yes, including the Sox).
  2. I’ve had many O’ job where I needed to stand on my feet well over 7 hrs and 20 mins a day. Where were you Joe Buck when I needed you?
  3. I’m starting to think Roberts’ real blunder is trying to face this Red Sox team to begin with in this WS. Doesn’t seem to matter how vaunted any team’s BP has been thought to be in this post season or damn near all year long.
  4. A 7hr & 20 min extra innings game can mess with your head. I don’t fault Cora for trying squeeze every last pitch out of ERod there. At least not that much. Under normal circumstances ERod gets yanked before all that. He pitched a hell of a game.
  5. Red Sox win. Final score 56-3
  6. And Joe Buck sounded like the battered wife on the replay.” Oh, he was just trying to run out his base “. ********. Found time to blow a bubble too? Pierce may even be his best friend on top of it! Just goes to show it doesn’t matter with Machado. His own mother could be covering the bag. f*** you mom. What a real class act Manny Machado is.
  7. Yup. That was my schedule as well
  8. I’m guessing Pedroia. I never minded too much if he did though. He always seemed to make up for any fielding mistake with his bat later in the same game.
  9. Long enough to be terrible?
  10. Did Smoltz pronounce Faux as -fox- instead of -foe- last night?
  11. I know Nunez’ fly ball wasn’t deep and the odds of not getting thrown out at home were slim. But does Kinsler need to slide there? I could be crazy, but I thought if he got low and slid, that maybe he could’ve avoided the tag. Or was he just too far away for a slide and I’m a retard for thinking this?
  12. Bad umpiring beats both tho
  13. I’d be the first to admit that clearly it’s team mentality. Cora has his team loose, playing to win and Roberts team looks tight and simply playing to not lose. That above all is why the Sox are up 2-0. But after seeing game one, do you really go to Madson in game 2 over Baez? With runners on? Still facing the heart of the order? I can see sticking with your closer. Closer is preordained to be your guy in the 9th. Having a preordained guy for the 5th, decided before the game? I question that move. Having an initial plan is great. To a point. Going with the guys that got you there is a great idea. To a point. Not recognizing the hot hand and not going with your instincts or simply ignoring what happened just 24 hours ago is poor play off managing imho.
  14. Yes, i previously mention all that. Still, you start him over Muncy? 35 HR .973 OPS?
  15. The Sox aren’t perfect. This team seems to make mistakes but when they do they don’t dwell on them. They shake them off and go back to work. I blame Cora for this.
  16. Was he batting .097 then too?
  17. Dr. Keto, phone call from 3B... Dr. Keto
  18. Weren't they hyping up Hernandez? Going into this series they had me convinced he was something special. But I'm looking at his 2018 post season stats and he's batting a whopping .094 in 32 AB with a .404OPS. During the year he was OPSing .806. I think I have to agree with going with the hot hand or if there isn't one to be had, at least go with the higher upside guy if all things are equal. One article said Roberts has to throw away the binder and I'd have to agree.
  19. LOL Yeah... a position switch for every batter!!!! Buster Posey to the 30th power. hahaha (wasn't it Posey? In college maybe??)
  20. Sox got "Hammered" in the ALDS the last two years? I mean, I remember them losing. I don't remember them getting "hammered" as you so put it. Am I misremembering or are you just being really f***ing obnoxious right now?
  21. If the Dodgers won last year, they'd of had Us by 0ver $30 Million on this very petty point.
  22. Fun fact: Red Sox 2018 payroll is still $30 Mil shy of Dodgers 2017 payroll.
  23. I just think it’s a concious effort to not give them anything to hit. Some of these hitters, namely Turner, i think I’d rather risk a BB than a HR. I hate giving up walks as much as the next guy, but sometimes they can be strategic. Or, if they happen, it’s not worst thing that could’ve happened.
