Best ever bone head play by a Sox was at least a decade ago. Man on 2b, and the next batter hits it over the the rightfielder's head for a double or triple, but the guy at 2b was too busy sliding back into 2b because he didn't want to be doubled up! So he ends up on 2b and the batter gets a single.
