I'm sorry, dear, but I can't agree that it a "big" deal. Agents make a big deal of things to hype their clients. A "Save" is one of the phoniest statistics ever. A "quality" start? A "productive" out? Gimme a f-----g break!!!

I like Holt, but last year, and again this year, his post ASG production wanes. He simply is not an everyday player, talented, versatile, not everyday. This kiss-ass media makes a big deal of him. Go back a while and look at Billy Goodman. Played seven positions, and threw in a batting title for the hell of it. Holt is no Goodman

Because a) he doesn't want to play 1b if he is your first baseman, your other three infielders become worse. You don't rreally expect him to make the "nice" play , do you?

This guy has had a gtreat Red Sox career, but this year he has 500 HR on his mind. He definitely doesn't exhibit team play. On the few times he attempts to go against the shift, he does well, but insists he doesn't want to change, then he complains about all the hits he loses becauses of the shift. His contracted for next year is vested on PA this year, and he should reach it this week. $11M for 425 PA, increasing with more PAs. I'm not so sure I'm happy about that. He refused to play 1b on a regular basis because he doesn't "want to lose it all". Sounds selfish to me
