    This is just strange watching Pom. Where's the huge looping curve he goes to all the time? Strange how they talk about giving Xander all the time to rehab to come back strong. Ovbiously Pom isn't close to 100 percent.

    That GB that allowed two to score took a hell of a high bounce. I'm not sure many 3rd basemen make a play on that. At best you knock it down.

    I say they don't... I meant I do ..... I meant I don't think it matters..... well maybe ........ not sure really..... I think it comes down to the genes of a players family...... or maybe it's love that matters.... I have no idea and I don't think anyone will know until later in the season....... which is a bitch. Looks like we are going to see how this plays out. Or maybe not.

    That's funny. I started playing competative tennis right around when I was 40. A few years later, bam, meniscus surgery. My knees haven't been right since. I still play, but I make sure to play like a 40 year old and not a 30 year old.

    That's cool. Lynn must have been something else. Rookie of the year and MVP the same year. I wish they did documentaries on all those old players. I remember seeing a bit of Rice and Evans, but nothing about Lynn. I haven't noticed lately, but I guess I just don't look for it as much anymore. But with JBJ, he seems to get a super jump on the ball as soon as it is hit. That was the first thing I noticed about him.

    We use to have a problem hitting no name scrubs up to the big show for the first time. The excuse use to be we didn't have a scouting report on him. I'm good with going down like this against this guy.
