    Yea. I've heard this multiple times about JDM helping out the other players. I think I've read it and it's also been talked about on the broadcast. He said that during his time in Detroit he was the person asking the elder players how to be a better batter, and now he has just kind of filling that role in Boston where other players come to him for assistance. They use to talk about Pedey doing this a lot though also.

    Last start it was reported he was just touching 90 mph. He's not effective at that velocity as we have seen.

    ERods slow anyway. The time before this where he had to cover first, his follow through at the end of the pitch made him do a total 360 before going to the bag. Not everyone is Sale covering first.

    He's like the backups backup, with potential. And looks like we needed a third catcher. That is a role right there. Don't catch me catching you blaming Swi for E-Rods ankle either.

    Swihart didn't pencil himself in at first. And Swi isn't the first player to throw behind a pitcher covering first. He also made a couple good plays and has been hitting. Who's going to be the second catcher? The running gaffe was pure comedy though.
