He posted a 2.12 ERA (17 innings, four earned runs) over his final 11 relief outings before returning to the starting rotation June 28. In four starts, Johnson has a 2.79 ERA (19 1/3 innings, six earned runs).
I didn't think he'd stick. I'm glad he did. He came back at a much needed time. Seems like that guy has been battleing uphill for a long time to crack the rotation.
