    Seems like he was lights out until about his last 5 games. Not sure what's going on with him. Is he a streaky pitcher?

    I beleive his only good start was the last one. We are reaching on him coming up and doing well. I'm not expecting the best, but I'm a Sox fan so it kind of falls that way. i think the people that aren't impressed with his stuff are correct. He's only good at the top of his game, and he needs to hit close to mid 90 to be at the top of his game.

    He got away with it a year and a half and made the allstar team before being hurt. But being hurt seems to be his 3 pitch, so there is that.

    He posted a 2.12 ERA (17 innings, four earned runs) over his final 11 relief outings before returning to the starting rotation June 28. In four starts, Johnson has a 2.79 ERA (19 1/3 innings, six earned runs). I didn't think he'd stick. I'm glad he did. He came back at a much needed time. Seems like that guy has been battleing uphill for a long time to crack the rotation.
