  1. Two Sundays in a row they leave the bats at home.
  2. I guess Wright has been selected to be the pitcher that gets no run support this year.
  3. Why is Young in today? Toronto has a lefty starting tomorrow? Is this the "Knucleballers get no respect" syndrome?
  4. This..... but his last start was, and this is with reduced expectations...................mind blowingly awesome..................
  5. Same here........ Last year he looked like a big man that moved well. This year he just looks like a man that moves well. Actually...... there is no way to say it other than I'm shocked how well he is playing third. Those bare hand grabs he has been making and him ranging to his left, and just over all is dang impressive. And that he'll make a play that was cool, or hit a shot that bring in a run all while looking like.......... he's done it before........ makes me really like his game....
  6. Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. The Blue Jays take stupid chances on the basepath.
  8. Swihart had only 38 games in AAA ball between 2014 and 2015. He then was brought up during the 2016 season, without spring training to get to know the pitchers and thrown into the mix with a rotation of fairly bad pitchers. During the second half he proceeded to hit above 300 and was the third best hitting catcher, and led the team to win 28 wins and loses. Pretty dang good for a AA guy that needs AAA training. And he's not blocked at all. He's a trade chip. If he builds defensively he alone could possibly fetch a high slotted rotation pitcher. And there's no rush to trade him.
  9. Have to ask again. How much of that was Vasquez? How much of that was the ump who likes strikes, how much of that was Porcello? To me that looked a lot more like pitching, than just throwing. Especially working inside like that.
  10. I'm going to need a few more good starts in a row out of Porcello before I call him anything but suspect.
  11. I just can't remember being excited for a Porcello start. And I can't remember being excited about a Porcello performance. But that was exciting......
  12. Wooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Definitely likes strikes....... but going both ways...
  14. SO how much of that pitching performance was Vasquez?
  15. Oh...... look who decides to show up......
  16. Damn. So far this has to be the best I've ever seen Porcello pitch.
  17. That was a real good inning from him. Hardly any hanging high pitches. Hitting the low corners.
  18. Porcello just can't locate his pitches. He's still leaving them high.
  19. Damn..... nice pick
  20. Nothings normal with Hanley
  21. Vazquez at C. This should be interesting.
  22. Totally. If they think about moving him to left I'll be pissed. If he becomes an average defender at c he is a huge trading chip. Veritek was quoted saying "he will be an allstar catcher". I'm usually not adamant on these things, but if that happens I think it would be a huge mistake.
  23. And Swihart now taking fly balls in ........................ Left field. WTF?
