  1. Ah, got it.
  2. He could have been an absolute wizard, but it shouldn't overshadow someone that was very good for 140-150 games.
  3. Frankly, they're all pains in the ass.
  4. Yeah, that's a little too exciting. Give me boring!
  5. He can't even bring himself to say "division series". I love it!
  6. Yup, Cora could be the greatest down the road, but for me it's still Francona.
  7. Well, you are truly amazing. Not sure why you waste your time with us peons.
  8. In July? Ok...
  9. According to Alex Spe ier and WEEI, via Twitter, Price is not opting out. no surprise there.
  10. Yup, McCarver was just brutal.
  11. If DD was truly "going for it" he would have gotten Cora a little bullpen help at the deadline. I think the starters, Porcello and Eovaldi in particular, and Cora should get the lion's share of credit for keeping the bullpen afloat during the playoffs.
  12. Yup, it really didn't matter to me that they lost the game, the Eovaldi performance was amazing to watch. His performance helped the rest of the team shrug the loss off also.
  13. Nope. Fans who bitched about Price were fans that thought he had some sort of mental block, when it came to high pressure situations. I'm glad he finally got over it, but I still think he's a head case.
  14. Nothing brings out the dickheads like winning.
  15. It was a fun season! Kicking AL East ass in the regular season. Kicking Yankee ass in the ALDS. Kicking Astro ass in the ALCS And a mercy killing of the Dodgers to cap it all off.
  16. And that wasn't happening. The Dodgers never had a change. I almost feel bad for Dave Roberts, he looked totally over-matched, going up against Cora.
  17. Yup, he's still a tool, but he's not the first tool to play for the Sox and he wont be the last. Hell, the Sox are owned by a couple of tools.
  18. You want to see him playing the Sox 18 times a year? I don't.
  19. No, you're not the only one that holds their breath when Devers throws to first. But, I don't think the Sox, as a whole, will get themselves into a position where a throw to the dugout will cost them the series. I think they're that much better than the Dodgers.
  20. 429. BA vs a paltry .330, so I'd say yes!
  21. Talking heads have to talk about something and payroll disparities are guaranteed to elicit a response.
  22. If there's a chance he can't play in games 5, 6 or 7, I'd rather rest him now, with a two game lead.
  23. To be fair, the fact that the Sox are a high payroll team is why they can absorb bad contracts and still field a competitive team. I still believe MLB should have a spending minimum, as well as a luxury tax threshold. There are too many "small market teams" that are pocketing TV contract money.
