  1. The Clydesdales are magnificent.
  2. You never know what a woman will do. Her perogative.
  3. Kelly did what he usually does...5 strong and OUT, giving up 1 E.R. Concerning Lyne, about 1 of 4 starts he is damn near unhittable, when the 98mph heater is locating. But Nostradamus could not predict when he's gonna do that.
  4. The Globe is a fine, old New England rag, but you can get 'em quicker and more reliably from The Baseball Press/Daily Lineups
  5. Odds are that if you DO lose it will be to a relief pitcher. Lyne is a 2nd half head case. Dbl digit wins in the 1st half, 4 or 5 in the 2nd, this year and last. If you guys' guy gets shoulder problems this could turn in to a hell of a slugfest! BTW, VA: Descalso's 1st name is not David.
  6. LOL...but how about Matheny not pinch running for the hobbled Craig? Either he is a total idiot or Craig was going to replace Adams on 1B, indicating that he was ailing worse.
  7. It would probably help to have Napoli pinch hit at some point tonite.
  8. Maybe his two previous AB's where he hit the ball to the track was a factor?
  9. That is also true. There was contact. Mid had one foot in the baseline without the ball. It was a simple slide to 3rd. Craig broke no rules that I can see.
  10. That's true. He did. But if Middlebrook was not there he would have used the ground....but he WAS there.
  11. THERE! They asked him if he raised his legs intentionally. He said no. did they raise up against his will?
  12. You don't have to yell. They showed the rule on MLB that covers that play.
  13. All he had to do was LAY THERE and Craig could have easily stepped over him. His toes were on the ground. He looked back at Craig and raised his legs UP. Like he was doing aerobics.
  14. I just saw it again...a person does not draw his legs up like that to stand. The guy did all he reasonably could to slow Craig down, and I still say it was a damn good try.
  15. Did you guys see the close up slow mo? He glanced back at Craig and lifted his legs deliberately. A good ploy, really as Craig was sure to score.
  16. Jay is a Putz...we go to extra's
  17. Craig will have to hit at least a triple to score Molina.
  18. Ahhh... a gas can. We have a couple of those left in our pen too.
  19. Not against the f***ing Cardinals it ain't.
  20. If I ever knew that, I forgot it. Gimme a break. This is the time in a game when my guts get tied up in f***ing knots. I hate it.
