    I guess you are referring to Mike Shannon. He is possibly the worst baseball announcer ever. He was a Card in the '60's, helped win a couple of pennants. INCLUDING 1967. He got real sick after his playing days, and when he recovered Gussie Busch gave him Jack Buck's radio job when he took Harry Carry's when he was fired for f***ing Mrs. Busch. (no lie) Old Card fans tolerate him for old time sakes, and new fans get a kick out of his drunken ineptitude.
