  1. Its ok lester. Great outing none the less.
  2. I hope he can get the cg shutout. It would be a gigantic confidence boost to him.
  3. Damn. Pap has been swingin under those away pitches tonight. But he might be a bit fatigued and hit well in the yankee series.
  4. Lesters era now down to 4.10. Both lester and dempster both had a an era in the mid 4s, but lester has been trending the right way lately while dempster, although he had a good start against the blue birds, is not.
  5. Its great to see lester starting to turn it around. His last 3 starts have been nice.
  6. Hahaha, but he would be a good option to give pedey a break.
  7. Sub 290 for pedey... That just doesnt look right.
  8. True. There have been times this year when he under used it and suffered through games, and over used it and would not locate it in the strike zone like you said.
  9. I think a 8-0 shut out would be just what this team needs.
  10. True. Might have some extra incentive with bogaerts being called up.
  11. Indeed. He's certaintly not "the freak" anymore.
  12. Im talking in general, for the season.( excluding the no-no)
  13. Two nice nights in a row for nava. Hopefully he can reestablish the presence he had in the first half.
  14. If tim brings back the moss, maybe he'd have better success...
  15. The cutter is back for jon.. When it works, he will be more consistent and better.
  16. Anthony ranaudo has had two good starts at pawtucket, in his first one he was very dominant and in his second one, he let up some hits but didnt let them ruin his outing. Althoufh he did have a tough outing, if ranaudo can have two string final starts, i would like to see what he could do in the rotation,
  17. True, but management and pitching is really what killed them.
  18. Just wanted to bring up a stat: era wise, boston is 10th in the al in era vs right handed batters, and we are only in head of very s***** teams and bmore is just behind us.
  19. You can say what you want about Farrell managing the game and the arod beaning incident, but Dumpster could have pitched much better in this game.
  20. For one, because of his post season performances and regular season performances. He has been one of the premier hitters in this league since 2003 and has shown he has put his poorer 2008 and 2009 campaings behind him. He also has had 3 epic post season walk off hits, two of which were hrs and without those, I am sure the sox would have never broke the curse in 04. I also think he is the epitome of cool.
  21. So far its pedey in the lead.
  22. Koji, allowing a double? Impossible!!!
  23. Good choice. He is my third fave after koji.
  24. I thought this would be a cool thread, so say who your favorite current red sox player is and why? Mine is David Ortiz.
