  1. Story is coming back in several weeks. Monesterio is better.
  2. On that we agree. Watching the paint dry is much more entertaining than soccer
  3. Name calling IS more interesting than this game, which is boring as hell
  4. Not at all! That stuff doesn’t bother me a bit. I can joust with anyone. Now shall we return to the game or continue calling each other names? Your choice….
  5. Major dildo suits you better Wanna keep up the personal stuff?
  6. I think Cease nearly had a no hitter recently. Took it into the 9th vs SF. I did not expect Gray to s*** the bed,
  7. I’ve been called a lot of things in my lifetime. They roll off me like water off a duck
  8. It’s still early Plenty of time for the Jays to score a lot more runs
  9. Gonna have to win tomorrow. Gray hasn’t had many games like this
  10. There you go! Another great defensive play in CF by Rafaela! Fair and balanced analysis folks. Credit where credit is due. A lump of coal when mists are made.
  11. I called him out on a bad play-after I commented on a great catch in CF. Fair and balanced. I’ve also said I’ve become sold on Durbin (I’ve said he’s a vacuum cleaner at 3B) and commented positively on Siegler and several other players. And when someone screws up (including Rafaela-who has for the most part had a very good year). And I’ll continue to present a fair and balanced analysis of the team’s performance. I’ll leave the pompom waving to others.
  12. You do your best to hit the ball to the right side in that situation. You know that’s the correct play. It’s basic fundamental baseball. One more run could have meant the difference between winning and losing. Its OK to be fair, critical when a guy screws up and complimentary when they make an outstanding play. That is what I do here. And I challenge anyone to prove that statement false.
  13. When he made that catch in CF-which was an unbelievable catch-I immediately commented on it. If you were on the game thread you would know that. And when he failed to move a runner to 3rd base with nobody out I criticized him. That’s called being fair. We need more posters here who point out both the good and the bad.
  14. Even good players screw up sometimes. Failing to see that reality and point it out when it happens isn’t a fair assessment of performance. I’m sure Rafaela knew he should have moved Siegler over in that situation.
  15. I believe I am treating him fairly. I cited his catch in CF and his HR earlier. If he screws up I’ll point that out too. All the players are subject to a fair assessment. When they are good they’ll get a Hoodsie from me (it’s an ice cream treat made by Hood Ice Cream and served from ice cream trucks back in the 60s) and when they screw up they’ll get a lump of coal. https://hood.com/products/ice-cream/frozen-treats/hoodsie-cups
