  1. Sanchez is 28, and he's been a good pitcher his entire career. A rotation of Lester, Sanchez, Buchholz, Doubrount, and another pitcher like Dempster or Villanueva would be a decent enough rotation.
  2. Dempster at 2/20 isn't the worst option in the world, BTW.
  3. I think if they signed Swisher, Napoli, and Sanchez they would contend for the division.
  4. Texas won't give up Andrus for Ellsbury.
  5. I like it. I would have liked them to be on Scott Feldman, but he signed with Cubs. I bet $5 million would get a deal done.
  6. Lester for Myers is more than fair value for us. Sign Grienke as a replacement, and you've upgraded two areas of need.
  7. If by a couple you mean like six, then you're on to something.
  8. I'm not sold on Brentz, so I'd rather take Swisher at $52 million over 4.
  9. At $20 million, that price will scare off any suitor.
  10. Lincecum has negative trade value because of his salary. We could get him for a lot less.
  11. You are in love, Lord Snow.
  12. I'd say the Long Island Blackbirds.
  13. Reddick is a capable defender in RF, whereas most scouting reports believe Brentz to be below average.
  14. He's not getting $100 million.
  15. Probably $52-56 million over four years.
  16. We probably could get him for Webster alone.
  17. Anibal Sanchez would be a great fit.
  18. Good. He sucks.
  19. Neither am I. That leads me to believe they envision him as more of a starter, which would be a disaster if true.
  20. It's an OK deal if they use him strictly against left-handed pitching.
  21. Come the f*** on. These trade ideas are getting ridiculous.
  22. The Jays aren't paying him to hit like he did in San Fran.
  23. Middlebrooks would be involved in any deal for Stanton.
  24. Gordon is six win player two years in a row, and Butler is a three with a Silver Slugger to his name.
