    Exactly. It would be one thing if we traded him to the Yankees or Orioles. But you don't not make a trade because it will result in you possibly facing the player four times the entire rest of the year.

    Unless Youkilis can pitch, whether or not's he's on the team will not be a deciding factor in our season.

    Youk was not hitting, not fielding, not staying healthy and everyone knew we had to move him. Players like that don't get significant returns.

    I stated that the Red Sox currently had $95 million committed to 2014, hence why the figure would not include team options they haven't activated (Lester) or arbitration offers they haven't made (the rest).
