2004 ALCS's Achievements

  1. If Gonzalez and Crawford hit, is there any doubt that we'd have the best offense in baseball?
  2. Another move that makes Cherington look smart.
  3. Just a double? Ross is such a bum.
  4. Exactly, plus they wanted a prospect.
  5. Why the f*** is Menino talking about how Boston should live healthier? The guy sounds like he's got a mouth full of cheeseburger and looks like he's a step away from a heart attack.
  6. Good to see Carl Crawford play like Carl Crawford. I love the speed at the top of the lineup.
  7. At this point, Aaron Cook is the only Red Sox starter that I can stand watching and I doubt that will last long.
  8. Smart move by Cherington. Or does he only run the team when things go wrong?
  9. I hope Youkilis has a good game and we win.
  10. Lester can still turn things around. It's not as if he's seen a drop in velocity or a significant change in his peripherals. His strike out rates are down, but so are his walks, resulting in the second best K/BB of his career. The only major differences this year are his high BABIP and his low LOB%.
  11. Simply because pitching counts are in fashion now and more pitchers are getting hurt now does not mean that more pitchers are getting hurt because of pitching counts. Pitchers are also putting a lot of wear on the body when they're not pitching to get in to the physical condition that allows them to compete in modern baseball.
