  1. I agree with Jackson, I think Ausmus will go deep in the search for a new manager. I hear Farrells name obviously, but I just don't like him as our manager. Tek is way too soon IMO
  2. Are you really trying to compare me to a couple low lifes doing it in a bathroom? That's funny..
  3. A video of a couple at Yankee Stadium having sex in the bathroom. All I could think of was how gross it was, but after I realized we could use this against them http://deadspin.com/5943639/nsfw-at-yankee-stadium-yesterday-two-fans-went-at-it-in-a-bathroom-stall-for-about-three-innings
  4. I wouldn't even give Lackey another chance, but with his contract we may be stuck for awhile.
  5. I've been waiting since this season began. Let's be honest did anyone really think we had a WS caliber team at the beginning of the season? Most of you should say "No". I havent been around as long as some of you as in terms of age i'm sure, but I can say with 100% certainty that this team was one of the most unlikeable teams i've seen. Absolutely no personality mixed with the fact they just couldn't come together this season. So i'll wait a little longer personally. If they go out and talk to Hamilton or Greinke or Shields or whoever. It will be a big mistake IMO
  6. I've given up on Iggy figuring out the bat. It's hard to say it though considering he's only 22. Aviles should start SS in 2013 until Bogaerts is ready to take it late 2013. Yes Bogaerts as a SS, not LF and not 3B
  7. I like Bobby V as a guy, but it's not going to work out here. As long as he's manager the sox wil be ways away from doing better. He's a guy you have a beer with not a guy to manage the Boston Red Sox
  8. Has anyone heard anything on the roster for the fall league? I just wanna see Barnes, Bradley and Bogaerts there and i'll be happy
  9. Ive seen Xander play on several occasions in Portland. Everytime I came away impressed not only with the offense but also the glove. Hes hitting .330 right how with 5 dingers in AA. Assuming the sox are gonna play him in the fall league id say theres a strong chance he could start in AAA for 2013. Alot of things need to happen in order for that though. As far as him staying at SS or not we'll see what direction the sox are heading by where he plays in the AFL. He could be a SS at the mlb level though. He has the athleticism to stay there
  10. I'm sorry I recently heard this news late, so why are the Sox passing up on him exactly? That's the news i'm hearing. Is it just cause of the huge deal that he would want?
  11. I would say people make too big a deal out of that alcohol slip up, but then again i've never been addicted to Heroin. I mean I feel like one beer can't hurt the guy, but again what do I know. Either way I think we should stay away from him for the pure and simple fact that he's gonna want a mega contract and I wouldn't go near one those for awhile if I was BC
  12. Biggest off-season move IMO internally speaking is getting Bogaerts some action in the AFL. Maybe even putting him in the OF for the most part. Outside of the organization (FA).. It's pitching, pitching and hey guess what? more pitching
  13. I'd pay good money to be in that locker room after.. Imagine the tension
  14. He's our Heath Bell.. If showtime was following this team around im sure a camera man would have been hit by Aceves by now
  15. I don't mind him that much as long as he's not closing games
  16. Bobby V seriously has to be tanking this season completely. Not even trying to salvage anything at this point. He shouldn't have been out there
  17. Just turned off the TV.. Hard to watch
  18. It's kind of his thing
  19. I was going to comment on his SO on a swing with the ball in the dirt in the 7th I believe, but I felt people would have thought I was being too hard on poor Jose
  20. Pedey has only above average speed. I mean those short legs can only move so fast
  21. Bobby is feeling aggressive tonight. I like it
  22. That's why I said cheap. I wasn't saying invest that money in Lincecum. If that's what he would demand then it's obviously no. I don't think he can ask for that after this season though. He'd have alot of balls telling someone to pay him 20 annually after this season
  23. This post is really still going on? Felix is about as untouchable as Eliot Ness.. Period
  24. I see the point you make definitely, but Bradley and Bogaerts have almost too much confidence in themselves. Can't speak on Barnes haven't watched him as closely as the others. Barnes is in a different situation right now though. I feel like he's way behind Bradley and Bogaerts and that's not just cause he's still in A Ball. I just feel like he hasn't taken that next step like they have. I don't think that they will break down and lose all faith in themselves if they struggle a bit. I mean it's to be expected that's the point to get them experience at this level. I'd be happy with Bogaerts and Bradley by September, but i'd be ecstatic if I saw them have Great- to even mild success within the first months of the season. If Bogaerts hits let's say .250-.270 from April to June i'd rather that then him hitting .290-.310 in AA or AAA in that time span. I like to bring up the pups early and get them experience. I understand most people don't prefer that method including most MLB front offices, but that's just me
  25. Fair enough. He does deserve a look at least
