I see the point you make definitely, but Bradley and Bogaerts have almost too much confidence in themselves. Can't speak on Barnes haven't watched him as closely as the others. Barnes is in a different situation right now though. I feel like he's way behind Bradley and Bogaerts and that's not just cause he's still in A Ball. I just feel like he hasn't taken that next step like they have. I don't think that they will break down and lose all faith in themselves if they struggle a bit. I mean it's to be expected that's the point to get them experience at this level. I'd be happy with Bogaerts and Bradley by September, but i'd be ecstatic if I saw them have Great- to even mild success within the first months of the season. If Bogaerts hits let's say .250-.270 from April to June i'd rather that then him hitting .290-.310 in AA or AAA in that time span. I like to bring up the pups early and get them experience. I understand most people don't prefer that method including most MLB front offices, but that's just me
