  1. I'm not debating that? I originally posted that the heat had trouble with the pacers? The guy responded that bosh went down? But in reality the pacers were winning when the heat had bosh..... Overall with or without bosh, the heat had trouble with a team they are supposed to blow out.... I'm not saying the heat won't win this series, just that they didnt look as dominate as people say they are
  2. Bosh had 13 pts and 5 reb in 16 mins and the heat were losing after the 1st quarter and struggled the whole 1st half?? The heat played BETTER after bosh left the gm , so your argument makes no sense at all?
  3. Lol.... Excuses, excuses.... Pacers just ran out of gas the last 4 mins.... The heat clearly didn't look like " clear-cut " favorites to win the east
  4. Looks like the "dominant best team of all time" heat are having some trouble with the lowly pacers ( who have no real "superstars" by the way)
  5. Funny how all yr people on this site have complained about aviles defense at ss, but they are dead-set against moving WMB to ss and he's been an infielder his whole life lol And WMB is our 3b " of the future " so let's put him in LF, then have to move him to RF when Crawford comes back, then next yr expect him to just go right back to 3b.... Nice way to f*** a kid up if you ask me
  6. Exactly, so why not move him to ss where he'd be more comfortable? Especially when aviles would be a more than adequate option in the OF, and it's not like he's a gold glove ss to begin with?
  7. Yeah, and I'm sure nerves had nothing to do with any of those? He's a kid? Do you really think he'd be better in LF than ss?? Please explain how a kid that's never played OF before can handle LF at Fenway? Better than he could at ss, when he's been a left-side infielder his entire life?
  8. I really don't see how that applies to this argument?? WMB will get ate up in LF... Everyday outfielders have trouble with the monster? Your saying we should either put a defensive liability in LF or to send a kid,who is hotter than anyone in MLB not named Josh Hamilton, back down to AAA??
  9. Nope... Some means some.... The kid has played ss until he was drafted, he plays 3b very well.... Moving him over 25 feet would be alot easier transition than playing left field at Fenway!???? And aviles can and has played every OF spot??
  10. He was drafted as a ss, sox moved him to 3b
  11. I remember when there was talk of trading for peavy and signing beltran....... Pretty sure we'd be above .500 with those 2
  12. Some may disagree, but I think WMB at ss and aviles in LF is a better option
  13. I agree that youk has to get his ab's either way.... But sending WMB down would cause a mutiny in Boston
  14. I'll take credit for that hit
  15. Prob be petey's last chance to extend his streak
  16. Your right she won't, but you will
  17. Friendly reminder..... Don't forget to call your moms and tell them how much you love them and appreciate eveything they have ever done for you!!!!!
  18. Announcers " lot more people staying for this gm compared to last night" don't they know the train schedule? Lol.... Trust me when I'm at a game and it starts getting around 10:15-10:30 , I gotta go... Mess around too long and your stuck in Boston or in our case, actually made the train ( barely ) but because of how late it was they stopped in Framingham when we parked in Worcester!!! $50 cab ride later ( for 15 miles ) we learned to leave on time to catch the train
  19. I understand that, but your telling me ( just for arguments sake ) that if Boston hitters hit say 400? Doubles at home but their opponents only hit 300? at Fenway, that wouldn't skew the numbers a bit? Yeah in the end it's alot of doubles, but IF ( idk if there is ) there is a big discrepancy between our hitters and the visiting teams hitters, wouldn't that then atleast flaw the system a little bit? I really don't get into all the "extra" stats like that, so I'm not even 100% sure if I follow my own reasoning
  20. I'm not gonna debate against facts, but I will say this... I'd have to believe that the array of "superstar" caliber players we've had over the yrs has to factor into that... But unless there's a away team only stat for "park effect", I guess I'll concede this one to ya.... Well played sir
