    After going back and re-watching saltys AB vs Davis, I feel I owe him an apology for all the bad things I was wishing upon him...... Davis was throwing 90 mph fastballs, and finished him off with an above-avg change up .......so, sorry salty...... Gonzo on the other hand......SMH

    I really don't think age is as big a factor as it sometimes can be in ortiz's case..... For one, he looks to be in the best shape of his life , 2nd being a dh is not the most demanding position to play lol...and who cares about his age or the fact that he's a full-time dh, if he can hit .320-30-100 ?? Funny thing if he was 27 no one would have a problem with paying him.....keep in mind we're not talking about a long term contract with Ortiz, he knows that ship has sailed.... But if he continues to hit, would be a huge mistake to not keep him... And remember, Ortiz has been one of the best 2nd half hitters in MLB the last few yrs.... I don't see how he can get better than what he's doing now, but who knows

    Let me get this right......Ortiz is off to the best start of his career and you guys don't want to bring him back for another season? Unless papi completely tanks after the all-star break, I see him getting another yr with maybe a team option for a 2nd

    Albert pujols has been the best hitter in baseball the last 10 yrs right??? If anyone says no, your an idiot .....As of yesterday pujols was statistically the WORST hitter in baseball this season..... I'm not saying gonzo should be compared with Albert, but to say "good " hitters don't go into slumps is 100% percent wrong

    As of right now, I'm letting the BP off the hook.....not counting McDonald's " outing " the BP has given up 6 runs in the last 53 2/3 innings for an era of 1.01......yeah, I was surprised by that number too

    They have to play youk at some point if they plan on trading him and getting any kind of value back

    BUT at the same time.... Youk's value is about zero right now... We'd be lucky to get a AA prospect for him..... Might have to get him some ab's, to make him more enticing to teams needing a 3B...... My solution package youk,buch,aviles or Iglesias and whoever else and bring back hanram!!!!!!! ( pipe dream I know, but I can dream with the best of them )

    No worries, I'll be back in Boston soon... Idk what it is, but over my life ( 31 yrs old ) I've only been to 2!!! Losing gms... And that's with living in Ohio and going to see the reds!!!! Lol ...... Hmmm maybe I can start getting some tv time like the fireman guy from the jets????
