    I don't get it with Melancon, before, he looked as though he may have had the stuff to have been able to get the hang of it. Now he looks like he's throwing women's fast pitch out there.

    Defensively he seems to be at or slightly above replacement level.. At least hitting in the leadoff slot he looks to be able to get better contact and get on base a little more.

    I agree 100% with this actually, I think Sweeney could be a damn good leadoff hitter.. Although it seems Aviles does better from the leadoff slot than he does 7-8-9.. Maybe this is a good place for him to be? It may improve his OBP, you never know. There's the Miller we all know and love!
