  1. Because hitting and pitching are repetition and muscle-memory based. Once you create a habit through repetition, it's very difficult to break free from it (although it varies from player to player). Managers see this and try to correct it along with the pertinent coach(es), but it's ultimately up to the player to make adjustments.
  2. His hitting is not so much the problem, since how much can you really expect from an Util guy? The problem is that he's sucking ass on the field.
  3. He could actually get semi-regular AB's with the big club if he can play 3rd adequately though. Lord knows Ciriaco can't.
  4. So Iglesias can't hit a beach ball with a light pole in the minors, but he keeps raking (SSS) in the Majors? dafuq?
  5. Jon Lester career ERA by month: April: 4.01 May: 3.99 June: 2.78 July: 3.83 August: 4.14 September: 3.51
  6. Lackey's pitching better than Lester too. If the current trends keep, Lester will be this rotation's #3. However, this is likely just a rough patch for Lester. Buch WILL run into one eventually.
  7. Jesus Lester is sucking major ass
  8. It's just that for some girls, it's always that time of the month. Even more so as they get older.
  9. You seem to forget Alfredo Aceves is on the roster.
  10. Yeah someone here definitely needs some.
  11. Farrell makes the lineup. The whole idea that the FO has anything to do with it is ridiculous. Nothing to see there.
  12. I don't even need to, you harass VA and MVP like it's your job. Also, if i'm "special" and you think you can be a raging douche and attack me without provocation, please can the advice. Otherwise, let's all be civil and keep our attacks to ourselves.
  13. By the way, i will admit that post was very much out of hand. Apologies to SoxSport.
  14. The funny thing is that Kazmir used to own the Red Sox hard. Hopefully he doesn't come up with some of that magic from old times.
  15. Will you heed your own advice? If so, you've got a deal!
  16. Farrell makes the lineup. That is clear as day. There is no need for conspiracy theories.
  17. He spent the whole off-season touting that horn. Dude's dumber than suns
  18. You know what, i'll save the comment about SoxSport. On a related note, SSS alert.
  19. Every post you make literally burns some of my brain cells. At this rate, i'll be eating through a straw before the season's over. Please stop posting.
  20. Fred, the problem seems to be one of miscommunication here. No one here has annointed any of them as anything. What was mentioned was their potential. You took that and went with it.
  21. I doubt he would have been a very good starter at the ML level because of his lack of stamina.
  22. The Sox should treat him with kid gloves to keep him fresh throughout the year. They're going to need him.
  23. Yeah i actually just noticed. It's pretty good.
  24. In all fairness, Chamberlain would probably be a superstar reliever about now had they not jerked him around between starting and relieving once he came up. Just like Daniel Bard.
  25. There's no argument. It's the best. The only thing ESPN is better at is live updates.
