    why give Lavarnway though, we could have the best catching tandem in Lav and Salty and they can DH at times.. if Papi decides to walk away for a better deal. who is ready in AAA? why cant we try someone from down there for next year. is Pimentel getting ready. i would also put it out there but Prior might be a good arm in the bullpen for 2-3 innings stretch edit i am thinking about next year but you are talking about this year..
