Josh does look like he might be dropping down a bit on these pitches that are up in the strike zone. Not sure where that is coming from. He can't be tired.

Man, Josh is tossing these mistake pitches up there to the meat of their order. Not sure if it is the thumb or not. I am actually starting to hope it is cause he cannot throw mistake pitches to the middle of this batting order. I don't want to think he is just in a daze out there.

I blame the networks for this scheduling s***. MLB just bends over and takes it for the money and we end up on the road facing the iron.

Aviles not advancing the runner really hurt there. Youk might do better when the weather gets warmer.

Absolutely right!! Youk used to frustrate the heck out of pitchers cause he never bit at anything.

I had seen Youk doing the gradual fade the last few years but holy cow suddenly its like he put on 5 years in 1 year. Way to come back Josh!

I know....I worried all off season about this being the year that Ortiz might age all at once. Ortiz looks great and it is Youk that suddenly seems to have picked up a bunch of years all at once.

Putrid is more like it mvp...the stink is unbearable. Josh does need to get ahead of guys more this year. Tough to pitch from behind so much. Fister had a much easier time with Strike 1 in the top half.

Geez the radio telecast is about 20 seconds ahead of HD Fox.....really weird to be hearing the call that far ahead of seeing the play.

The Sox do have to break out the bats and Josh does have to break out the K's. Allowing the opposition to make contact will not work out to well for the Sox this year. That by the way is the biggest flaw in the "lets bring on Cook" discussions. Contact exposes the Sox defense for what it is. Go Josh....Go bats!
