  1. CC just loves that s***. Get the ball into the RH hitter's kitchen and all he gets for his efforts is a line shot into the box seats.
  2. f***ing CC....guy is rock and April is historically his BAD month.
  3. That one to Cervelli.....not so good Oh now you get up off your ass to talk to Lester.
  4. Now that was a good pitch to Cervelli. Nix should have taken that Strike 3 to him and deposited it.
  5. Lester knows he is up in the zone and is overreacting to it. Time for a visit from pitching coach
  6. Salty on safari again behind home plate. I have never seen a guy take longer to find foul pops.
  7. Barrett sucks...he has always sucked......that second to last pitch to Wells is a strike...sometimes....is a ball...other times...make up your mind.
  8. Lester is getting up in the zone.....
  9. I don't have much to gripe about with Pedey's 1st pitch swing there. That was a good pitch to hit. I gripe when they swing at s*** 0-0 or pitches they can't do anything with if their life depended on it 0-0.
  10. It really does look like Iggy understands his predicament this season. He has clearly worked to improve all the things that have stood in his path before and Drew gets hurt just in the nick of time. Really do hope it works out for him as works out for him is works out for the Sox.
  11. Pal is right...forgot about that....it would have been Victorino in Left and Gomes in Right. In that case it would have been "thank God I am not in LF today".:D
  12. Iggy bunting???? That has been one of the knocks on him his entire career. He simply could not bunt the ball. Sort of a tough deal for a small speed guy. That was a very good bunt.
  13. JBJ made that play a little harder on himself than it needed to be but Gomes would have been tying his shoelaces or something......"what...that's hit to me? Thank you Remy....that was exactly right.....very tough to go back on balls in LF tailing when you have not seen them off the bat from Left that often.
  14. Liberal as in inconsistant. His view of it seems to change every batter.
  15. Now that Strike 3 to Nunez would have driven Panella nuts.
  16. This yankee lineup will need tons of luck. It is caught in no mans land....not enough power to play that game, too much dead wood to play small ball really well. They may have to rethink the lineup and at least stack the small ball guys so they can do something before 3 outs.
  17. CC settles...hopefully too late.
  18. How does he maintain that much speed and quickness in his game. Know he starts from the LS but so do a lotta' guys. We will likely find that Sake is going show up on the PED list.:D
  19. Immediately thought of Lou Pinella up in the Yes broadcast booth. If he were the head man in NY today, I doubt he could have survived that 2nd inning without Barrett running him. $#@&^ would have been flowing like wine from the Lou I remember as a skipper.
  20. Worth mentioning that CC has really been done in by Salty's AB followed by JBJ's at bat. CC was clearly disturbed that he did not get a strike call on what was probably a strike to Salty and then got more boiled that he just could not get the kid to chase.
  21. Young legs.....what a beautiful thing
  22. If we had not gotten a run out of that I would not have wanted Iggy rewarded for that 0-0 swing. He just can't help himself.
  23. That was an impressive BB by JBJ
  24. A little surprised CC did not get the strike call on the second to last pitch.
