  1. Stig sounds so disappointed when one of the Sox K. It is like he is an audio facsimile for all your frustration at the K.
  2. Somebody has got to step up and hit the ball besides Pedey and Ortiz
  3. Gotta get Wainwright before he gets you
  4. Ells had a great pitch to hit before the strike 2 curve...didn't do anything with it,,,fouled it off
  5. Jeez Jon at least be able to bunt..that was pretty pitiful
  6. Come on Jon....Holy s*** Although, sort of a good example for why we should be so impressed when a LH pitcher like Jon does well in Fenway. He can make that mistake with that pitch just about anytime. Can you imagine where those are landing in Boston? Some state employee on the Mass Pike would be looking to collect a toll charge from those suckers.
  7. Same pitch about a inch from where the first mistake was...come on Jon
  8. Wrong guy to make that mistake to Jon.
  9. Hey I suspect "obstruction" is something Cadaver has to deal with every day now. He probably perks up his ears anytime he hears the word hoping for some medical advice.
  10. Initially there was so much animosity between owners from the two leagues that it was just crazy. They really did think they were competing with each other for fans and frankly in some cities that is true. When the AL went to the DH, the NL marketing machine make a huge big deal out of it. NL teams had more of a speed game to begin with and the NL just played the DH off as another bit of evidence that the AL was where NL players went to retire. Now that is not as much animosity between the owners from the respective leagues. However now we have fans from the NL cities spewing their s*** about how much better the NL game is ...blah blah blah....it is probably more of a mess now that it was when it was just the owners.
  11. No DH in the NL just causes all sorts of problems for MLB and all this strategy stuff is just nonsense. The argument that pitchers are athletes and thus should hit is even worse. i like a No DH league because I like being able to watch pitchers pitch their way through a lineup that has a pitcher in it on occasion. That is totally different. That is no reason to keep a No DH league though.
  12. Thank you Jon...Molina could not have hit that even if he swung
  13. Molina is so set up Jon...get his fat ass
  14. f***ing Beltran just served that thing into Right Center. Lesson there for some of the Sox hitters.
  15. I can't buy into using the complete regular season strategy against this cards team. They have too many good pen arms. Gotta get something to happen...just going down without any contact at all won't get it done I don't think. Wainwright is really going to the breaker with two strikes. So the Sox can't lay off it. Gotta get "him" before he gets "there".
  16. If Wainwright is going to continue to go breaking ball with two strikes that might compel the Sox hitters to be a bit more aggressive early in counts also.
  17. Wainwright going breaking ball at two strikes....
  18. If Jon can keep it going like this each one of these innings is going to feel like somebody has a vice around Matheny's head, squeezing it one turn each inning. Love that fist inning run....Cards in hole right away.
  19. I had posted last night that I was willing to bet the post season book on the Sox is "throw strikes" and let the card fall where they may. Makes sense based on what we know about them. So I think they need to be a bit more aggressive. Pedey and Ortiz clearly went to the plate hackin'. I am fine with those two guys doing it....they handle the bats better than anybody else in our lineup.
  20. Come on Nava...hit is a run
  21. Radio feed saying the Vic is reporting that his back is hurting worse than at any time in the season. Might account for why he has had such a tough time hitting in this series.
  22. Fortunately I can't hear ******** Buck...How did he like that strike to Pedey?
  23. Home plate ump in sleeves...no jacket...is this the perennial beautiful night for baseball?
  24. It is 1st base for Craig...that should be interesting considering how poorly he moved last night....looking a little desperate are we Cardinals????
  25. Believe Brennan, even with the latency and delay issues, pickup the radio feed for the audio is way better than enduring Cadaver and half-Buck
