    Sox have been very vulnerable to the Change up since Maneae showed the league that is the way to get them out. Lets see..Maneae is a LH pitcher with a great change and what is Leblanc?

    Mariners are not a chump baseball team. Don't care what the stats say...This team knows how to win baseball games and it can pitch. Which is not to say we are at some huge disadvantage to it. But a split here if we can get it should not be a surprise to anybody.

    Well at least we have cleared the bottom of the order for next inning.

    Terrific throw Vaz. Maybe that picks this team up. Something has to.

    That is twice in the last week that XB has used the slide at First. Can we stop now XB or will this be one of those deals where 50 slides later you are safe and decide that justifies it.

    When you consider where most of these trash AL teams are this year, the M's are far closer to the Astros than they are to lets say the O's or Jays or Rays or Tigers or WS...Unfortunately, I could go on. And if the Astros are going to beat this team by 12.5 games they better get going. This is no longer the second week of the season. We are 70 games into a 162 game season. Like I said, the M's must really be irritated with the Cano thing.

    This M's team is as good a team as we have seen lately....pretty close to the Astros. Like I said earlier, if we split I will be happy with that. Was living in the glory of possibly getting two wins out of the first two games. Just wasn't to be. Workman might have to start showing Cora something with the number of games we have to play coming up.

    I think the Span hit was the only breaking ball Barnes threw after the walk.

    Pen choked it up tonight. Hope barnes is OK. Wish I knew if he stayed in the dugout or went down the tunnel when he came in from the mound.

    Throwing flat FB's even at 98 is really hoping lady luck is favoring you. Barnes would not even attempt any other pitch after that K pitch and the 4 pitch walk. I just hope we don't get some injury report on him after this stint because he was not right, even for Barnes he was not right.

    Ran out of arms tonight. There is something not quite right with Barnes.

    Hasn't thrown a strike since that pitch. Not even close.

    What was that? I did not like the way Barnes hung his arm after that K.

    But that actually describes the problem with JBJ. He cannot be trusted to even handle the bat well enough to move the runners over and he obviously can't bunt his way out of a paper bag. So you are left with what...oh well just swing away Jackie as the lesser of several evils. That is a heck of a note with two guys on and nobody out.

    I have no idea why they let him throw like that even for five pitches. I would just yell from the dugout if I didn't want to go out there "YOUR SHORT ARMING THE DAMN THING..THROW IT".

    Jesus Heath throw the God Damn thing!

    Throw it Heath. Don't short arm it. I just do not know why Hembree gets into these stretches where he is not extending to home plate. His ball just does nothing when he throws like this. Looks impressive on the gun but nothing is happening.

    I was just reading up on it earlier today. It looks more like they are favoring what I had suggested which is mandate two infielders either side of 2nd base. Other than that, put them wherever you want to as long as there are two on each side of 2nd. That would force teams to use an OFer for an overshift. Good luck with that.

    Not sure why the M's success should be a surprise. The Cano situation must really torque them off. Segura is not just a good player. He is a great player. Cruz can still hit plus their pitching. They should do well. Cano has just got to be frying their butts.

    Not sure which feed you have but in case they didn't announce it with you, they changed the scoring on JD's to a hit.
