So this is a good test for Brasier and I am sure Cora knows it. He pitched last night. Hembree has been up twice tonight, pitched last night and Cora did not bring him in. Do you have a resilient arm Mr Brasier.

Glasnow ended up bailing Cash out big time. We not only let Cash off the hook tonight, we let him off the hook for tomorrow when he is already facing another bullpen game.

I am OK with Cash using some late inning guy in the first inning at home. i think its not such a great idea on the road. On the road if this team is fortunate enough to get to the late innings with a lead you want those guys in the game where they should appear. But at home, with a team that has absolutely nothing and knows it has absolutely nothing, facing as many bullpen games as Cash has had, you don't want your guys coming to the plate in the 1st inning already behind by 2 or 3 runs. They may never recover from that because they know they don't have anything for a team and you just took part of the game away from them before they even get their first AB's.

We have to preserve this rotation and we need Sale back and sound by post season. This rotation has saved the pens bacon all season and I suspect that is most of the post season plan.

Not only did Pham screw up on the bases, he managed to clip Kinsler with his spikes on the way back to 2nd. I hate the fact that there are so many guys in MLB now like that...just lazy stupid baseball players.

I think Price will have to start treating the Rays with the same lack of respect the rest of the team has for them and I just don't see that happening. Price will have to completely self destruct. But I do want to be able to see Price come out earlier than normal so Cora can continue to experiment with pen combinations.

Oldest rule in the books that is universal...crosses all possible endeavors. When your opponent is in the process if committing suicide, don't get in the way. That kid was s*** on toast in the 1st innings. Comes out and gets through the 2nd with nothing.

Geez..is tampa ownership still trying to sell this team I wonder. They have it stripped down to nothing which is usually a tactic that suggests they are selling out. Anybody know?

Price cutter is almost exactly where he wants it. Not making mistakes with the FB so far (only thing the Rays have any shot at). Change is way off so far but Price is not wild with it in the strike zone. If he dials that back to where he needs it I just don't see how the Rays can handle him.

If Price can keep his change out of the middle of the plate, I just don't see how this Rays lineup can touch him. The RH hitters will just flail helplessly at the Change and the LH hitters will just flail period. Cash has worked miracles....but I don't see one coming tonight. Only chance I see for the Rays hitters if Price keeps his Change out of the middle of the plate is if he makes a big mistake with his FB. Rays will be sitting FB all night.

Jackie Bradley Jr. (L) CF I guess this will be the only game we play in this series with the Rays bringing out an actual starting pitcher. How in Gods name do you go through a season with a bullpen game every other day.

BJ and Swi are very comfortable together. I think Cora has given Swi every BJ start from the point E-rod went down.

The dif if there is one between Kinsler and Pedey is that Kinsler makes the routine plays look like he is making them from a hammock. Pedey always looks like he is working hard at everything.
