Even with the rain delay from the 7:30 start time we are close to 3 hours playing time and not even through the 7th inning. The only thing that will provide some relief is if the Sox don't have to bat in the 9th. That would be wonderful on all accounts.

Vaz saves us again. Take X, Devers and Vaz out of this lineup...maybe even one of them out and its about as interesting as a loaf of white bread.

This ump must be a Price relative because WS pitchers are getting nothing and David is getting everything.

Most obvious in the plethora of one handed home runs with all the weight already through and on the hitters front foot and the ball ends up in one of the Fenway bullpens. X hit one like that .....just ridiculous. I don't care how strong he is. When all your weight is already forward....all that power is spent before you hit the baseball.

Too many pitchers give him EXACTLY the only pitch he can hit....speaks volumes about the generally low quality of current MLB pitching. Add in his excellent collection of dribblers and doinks and you get......260

Considering the Sox got all the way to won a WS, hard to question moving Moncada for Sale knowing they had Devers and X. It is soooooo hard to win one of these things. If you get one, its hard to question the moves that got you there. Then again, the year after we get to complain like hell.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Here we have a team that can't field the baseball, cannot even figure out when not to throw it and a pitcher just all over the place...we get three bases for free AND.......one run.

This game has all the makings of another 4 hour Bataan Death March even without more rain delays mainly because the WS simply cannot play.

Thanks to continuing to change the baseball. Now has the rocket ship of rocket ships as an MLB official game ball and still has the unmitigated gall to claim that he knows nothing. MY ASS. All a hitter with even decent power has to do is just touch it with the barrel of the bat, ANYWHERE ON THE BARREL and its gone. In fact he can still go farther if he wants to and apparently nobody within baseball is going to stand in his way. The balls they use for the Home Run Derby are even more a rocket ship than the MLB 2019 official game ball. Generally low quality pitching helps the HR numbers as well. This is gonna' get really funny if MLB tries to expand.

That is what Manfred wanted, that is what the press wanted, that is what MLB wanted from both the plate and the mound. In this one respect Manfred and MLB and has been foiled. I am sure Manfred stands in front of his mirror at night before he brushes his teeth and screams "BUT NOOOOO". But Yes Commissioner. In about the shortest period of time imaginable, the pitchers have foiled you and your vaunted MLB hitters can't hit this breaking s*** with their launch angle garbage. Suck on that one Commissioner.
