  1. this team swings at an unbelievable amount of really bad pitches, and they seem to let so many perfect strikes go. and then there's suck-a-la-machia. he just strikes out any which way. 111 k's in 343 at bats. put lavarnway in for crissakes, because neither tek nor salty can hit, or throw runners out with any kind of consistency. and yeah, i know, our pitchers are lousy at holding guys on, but how many throws can we watch go into center field??????????
  2. later sox fans....will watch the rays hopefully lose tonight, here's to the O's!
  3. college coach, friend of mine says never let a tired pitcher lose the lead for you. we can add to that "never let a tired arm come out of the bullpen to try and hold the lead"
  4. ANOTHER FKIN KILLER LOSS. blame francoma for this one, completely. bard's all used up for now, either in his arm/shoulder, or his head, or both...but had no business being in there after the bad throw on the bunt.....
  5. buck says he whiffs, i know i'm a downer,
  6. how about a walk and a hr by salty??? asking for too much?
  7. walk, stolen base, score on a single by salty, anything...
  8. please crawford, i'll take back half of all the trash i've talked about you this season if you find a way to score here....
  9. if the ump gave bard same call, he would have had loewen struck out in the 8th
  10. c'mon Josh....bounce one off that wall, or even over it
  11. he's still desperate for a really big hit in a pressure cooker situation. yeah he looked good last night, but that was in an 18 run performance, which he certainly contributed to, but seriously when is the last time he delivered THE clutch hit of a big win???? wow, guess it won't come from youk here...bummer
  12. just don't know why it's ok to "overpitch" bard again and again and again, but seemingly a felony to let pap's get 4 or even 5 outs. if he comes in after the bunt, i'm convinced he gives up a run or less. and is pitching in the 9th to nail it down.
  13. hope they bring the righty in to try and close, that way if it gets to the bottom, reddick can pinch hit...
  14. it's amazing, just when i think i've seen our worst, most deflating loss....we rack up another contender!!!!!!!!! trying to stay positive for the 9th....gotta hope youk yank's one, he's certainly due, as is that piece of carp crawford....
  15. just missed sending that foul over the monster, millisecond too quick darn.
  16. can't forget swing and miss carl
  17. lining up for the bottom of the order to hit in the 9th....what have we got, tek/salty and darnell "worst player in baseball" set to bat in the 9th. OH JOY
  18. good idea for scutaro to go up thinking i think i should give romero a one pitch out!
  19. if this isn't proof we have the worst manager in baseball......jeeeeez....let a shaky pitcher blow the lead AGAIN against the Jays....after the bunt hit, you have to go get him and put in papelbon...this game just too big to let that kid blow it.....in fact should have yanked his dead arse after the 2 walks. fk francona
  20. how many times are they going to let this fat turd blow leads, blow crucial games down the stretch, all in the name of what, trying to get him to some ridiculously insignificant milestone nobody other than he gives a crap about!!!!!!!!!!! i say let miller and weiland, who both have problems of their own, throw 50 times before letting wake ever hit that mound again
  21. seriously, two pitches giving up so many runs....horrific. if they don't win the wildcard, theo should get fired for sure...because for all the credit he's given, he's really pulled some real idiotic moves with BIG money....can you say Dice-K (100 million) Drew (85 million) Lackey (85 million) and Crawford (120 million) not positive about all the numbers, but say ballpark 375 to 390 million bucks, 4 players, NONE of them contributing in any real way this season.
  22. wow, feel sooooo much better for venting...good to know so many Sox fans out there thinking the same.... aviles is worthless, in just year one crawford already challenging drew for worst free agent signing in boston history....it's wakefield who needs an ankle sprain and albers should be sent packing! peace out!
