    this team has no fire, no chemistry it seems. still have some top notch players but something's been lacking all season, even when wins were piling up, felt like we had something missing. maybe we just have to face this is not a playoff caliber team. certainly doesn't look like one these days. even if the rays and angels lose out....we don't deserve a playoff berth unless we can get some wins down the stretch here. 4-1 lead with fkin beckett on the mound and now trail by 2...rays announcing just saying that with some glee in his delivery...

    another fking loss to the miserable fking orioles....i said it last night, say it again..if francona is pulling beckett regardless of pitch count, and bringing in aceves...its the wrong FKING move....leave it to our skipper to always make the wrong move. give me tired becket over anyone in our pen except papelbon. if you're going to make the change, bring in pap's in the 8th...don't care about last night. only chance to get out of that inning unscathed was papelbon. but again our manager with the absolutely WRONG move.

    would rather have reddick playing blindfolded then put mcdonald anywhere near our outfield.....those two runs in game one yesterday will burn my asss for a long long time.

    knew we were in big trouble when we load em up, nobody out, pedey whiffs after a horrible call on strike two, and then Agon who had a double and a homer, comes up and bounces to first. got lucky to get the run we got but knew that was going to bite us in the arse....and it did. again fkfkfk

    we are so fking bad right now! been watching this team since i can remember, since like 1970. can't remember a worse stretch, where more players begged out of the lineup, some legit, some who knows (crawford) and more bad things happen in succession. and NEVER have I seen our team post worse starting pitching again and again and again.....

    yeah i'll give you that. it's just that i have lost all faith in just about every call he makes. and let's face it, just by flipping the coin, we would have fared better the last 3 weeks. seriously how often does he simply make the wrong move. again, i know given the horrible starting pitching, he's had to make more decisions than any mgr. should have to...but what about sticking mcdonald in left yesterday, things like that.

    i agree, but let's face it, we are in dire circumstances here. one or two more wins, especially with the rays losing, and we can seal this thing. and given the horrible outing by bedard, well what choice do we have. it seems like every time pap's comes on with runners on in huge situations, they score. would much rather have him start the 8th and get through it and then perhaps we score a run or two in the bottom half, and can go with doubrount or somebody else to close. but if the choice comes down to bard getting 6 outs, or papelbon, it's papelbon every day of the week and twice on sunday in this horrible stretch. and by the way, pap's only with what 60 innings pitched all season. his arm is good...velocity, control.

    waaaaaay to go francoma.....who wants to stake any cash on this kid getting out of this two out jam...again, if our skipper is making the move, it's got to be the wrong one AGAIN!

    told myself in the 8th, if francona is leaving bard in, i know for certain it's the wrong thing to do. previous lineup of relievers, zero runs, so our coach has to keep screwing with the pen until he finds one or two guys who will blow the lead, and yeah tonight he found them. should have just bit the bullet and let pap's come in to try and get 6 outs. what's the difference, he tried to get 6 out of bard, and that blew up in our faces. mind blowing.

    we have what, 2 bunt base hits this season, and now that's like the 100th against us. not even crawford has tried to bunt his way on, he's content to strike out twice a game swinging wildly. fck this team is frustrating to watch
