Am I proud of us for making it this far, hell yes I am!!! I love this to the end no matter what. A season we were projected to finish near the bottom, we made it this far. It’s a season for the ages. But tonight our offense SUCKED and went cold. How anyone disagrees with that is beyond me. You don’t post in game threads much. Cool. I don’t post on this forum hardly ever anymore because people are f***ing Delusional. On Bostonuproar people have sense and call it like it is. We sucked ass tonight. Their pitching was fine, but we were ice cold. If we hit like we did tonight we probably lost to Baltimore. I don’t always agree with D Money, but you’re making out like he is totally insane and he isn’t. Our bats were ice cold tonight. Spin it anyway you want Moon, but it’s the truth.

    Exactly!!! Before this game he gave up 16 runs in his last 3 starts including 5 to us on the 16th. I just can’t all the sudden say he pitched a gem of a game. We just didn’t play a good game in my opinion and Garcia didn’t suck.

I’m not mad I’m just surprised that you don’t think the bats don’t deserve some blame. With that said let’s just agree to disagree. Garcia did have a good night pitching

    I agree. Like I said. He pitched a very good no denying that, but it came on a night where our bats are ice cold. It was a recipe for a disaster. But anyone who is denying the fact that our offense sucked is dillusional. Just a bad night all a right for us and a very good night for Houston.

    You agree with that s***???!!? Lmfao seriously? We are swinging at pitches in the dirt!!!!!!! This is arguably one of our worst offensive performances. I guarantee you on my life any of these players will tell you they are swinging at bad pitches and being extremely impatient. They realize it’s elimination night and are getting over antsy. We are heating ourselves as opposed to good pitching. Splendid says this every single time our offense goes cold Christ we could get shut out by Baltimore for 4 games and he would say it was great pitching.

We are s***ing ourselves tonight. Not always is it the pitching. Garcia obviously pitched a fine game but our bats haven’t score more than 3 runs in 26 innings. If that isn’t enough for you to admit we have gone cold then I don’t know what is. Good god. My bad actually. “Good job offense!!!!!! you guys are super duper!!! That better ?

    Lmao good god man I swear every game this year we stink on offense you say it’s good pitching We swung at s***!!!!!!! Do you understand that? I legit lost count at how many balls were in the f***ing dirt that we swung at. I’m sitting with 4 friends right now and we are taking bets on how many balls in the dirt we will swing at He was fine at pitching but make no mistake. Our offense blows tonight. Don’t even argue that.

    In fairness Sales last 4 starts: 2.2 innings with 1 run allowed 1 inning with 5 runs allowed 2.1 innings with 2 runs allowed 5.1 with 3 runs allowed These are definitely alarming stats. I don’t blame anyone for not being confident in Sale right now. He started so damn good when he came back , but latrly it’s been ugly. I think he can rebound but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous myself lol
