  1. I never said he sucked. I thought he hasbeen pretty solid all year...
  2. Offense has our back. Game is more intense than needs to be but with a bullpen today guess it’s expected.
  3. Down early..... We are used to this. Not a big deal.
  4. He looks pretty calm, I'll give him that. I'm feeling pretty good about his start today.
  5. And we don't exactly have our best pitcher in either. If Weber can even get 5 innings in of making the game manageable I will take it.
  6. Good thing Sale went 9 innings last night and gave them a rest.
  7. Well said! I'm not holding on to the Steven Wright card anymore. He hasn't played in so long who knows how rusty he will be in the MLB. Weber we know little about but looked sharp in his first start. Maybe he is our guy. As it stands right now we don't know what Porcello offered as a discount (wish we did) because it's hard to believe we can find a 3rd rotation guy as consistent as Porcello for much cheaper.
  8. It's fantastic!!! Glad someone agrees with me. Didn't understand all the hate. Doomsday at the end I wasn't a huge fan of his look but still a good movie.
  9. hahaha! That's fair. Some of my views can be pretty out there at times..... For example. I really enjoyed Batman V Superman. Don't get the hate. But regardless....
  10. Half this board is guilty of it unfortunately. A good chunk of posters think I am insane for wanting Porcello back..... granted nobody can give me a valid option of who will replace him and for what cost.
  11. Fair enough. Guess I haven't paid that close of attention to how often he uses it or not. Might just be a pitch he doesn't like to use all that often. If he keeps pitching like he has been I could care less what he is doing. This is working for him. Also keeping his fastballs to 96 and lower may save his arm and health down the stretch. His stuff was nasty last night. Looks like the Ace we have been missing. With this type of Chris Sale and David Price (and a consistent Porcello giving us 6 plus innings) we should be able to right this ship even with a s*** bullpen.
  12. Any ideas why he isn't using the changeup? He is good when he uses them so I don't know why he doesn't factor it into his game more. I mean I'm not complaining..... Do what works. Now that his fastball is back for the most part (not as fast) but still around 96 and his slider is nasty maybe he just doesn't need the changeup?
  13. On board with the sweep! Take out Tampa next and right this ship!!! Go Sox!
  14. He’s been pretty damn awesome since his rough start!!!
  15. Wow. Cubs it is.
  16. Chris Sale was beautiful tonight.
  17. Chris Sale ERA is now under 4!
  18. Raps and Sox kicking ass.
  19. I love Chris Sale. That is all.
  20. I will miss this game, be watching the Raps and Warriors.... But Ill be checking in here for updates.
  21. Glenn Sparkman reminds me of a B action hero. "Glenn Sparkman is....... The Lethal Assassin..... Coming to a theater near you."
  22. Fair point. Guess it remains to be seen how the Sox do down the stretch. Granted we aren't playing our best baseball we are in a playoff spot as it stands right now. Unless we start spiraling completely downward I personally don't want to see a ton of changes. This is the team that won us a World Series and it's not like we are horrible this season. At this point making the playoffs is all that counts. Yes winning the division would be nice, but I will take our chances in a 1 Wild Card game against Tampa or Texas or Oakland. (Hell... even the White Sox are just a couple games back of a playoff spot, I know it's early but.... weird)
