    Well said. I have a friend who is a Jays fan, and absolutely hates the Red Sox.... And even he is saying it's stupid to let Mookie go. I think people get confused is the problem. There is a lot of really good players out there, and some very very good. Mookie is neither of those, he is truly a once in a life time player that can do it all. I generally am not a person that is a fan of massive contracts, but in the case of Mookie I definitely think he deserves it, and the Sox would be foolish to let him walk.

    Mookie is a once in a life time player. Amazing both defensively and offensively...... I just don't get why we wouldn't try and bring him back. He's expensive, as are all the top players in the league. This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone.

    Agreed Moon. Mookie is worth it to a point.... Depends what that point is. Also I am assuming he means Downgrade as in we get rid of Mookie and get someone else (Mookie being one of the best it would be a downgrade at that position whoever we choose)

    I'll beback to quote a lot of these guys when we get a guy that might suck and get hurt half way through the year. I hope Porcello lights it up for the Mets. Anyway with saying that I justhope Sale, Price and Evo return to form.
