  1. It's a travesty that the first time we play them is first weekend in June
  2. Best I've heard is a 8:30-9 start time, but don't think that is official
  3. When he comes back, I would like to see Verdugo leading off
  4. If somebody could update me when they have a scheduled start time, that would be great. Since I don't have NESN or Twitter anymore, I'm pretty much in the dark
  5. They must both be DTD. I think Kike may be headed for the IL, though. Unless one of them goes to the IL, or we send a pitcher down, there can't be any roster moves
  6. Between now and 8 PM, there will be approximately 0.2 inches of rain in Baltimore. Doubleheader Sunday?
  7. Well that leads us to a paradox, since I would identify that as my predominant perspective
  8. Looks like we may start about an hour late. Nasty line of storms moving through the beltway this evening
  9. Looking at the world from only one perspective is lame
  10. It amazes me how: 1) We still have the best record in the league, given how "ugly" the nature of our last 7 games have been 2) There seems to be much more parity so far in the league than in year's past. Dodgers aren't running away with it; in fact, they are leaking big time oil right now. No team was better than 18-12 in 30 games for the first time in about 20 years, and all the last place teams (except Detroit and maybe Minnesota) aren't that far behind yet. Pittsburgh is better than expected so far, as is Baltimore and Colorado. How long will they stay in the realm of relevance? A Baltimore win tonight means nobody in the AL East is below .500.
  11. Well he got us when it mattered the most. Caused most of y'all to go into a spiral
  12. Eddie against the Orioles? Music to my ears
  13. Momentum is only as good as the next day's relievers
  14. I don't disagree. Never been a fan of moral victories or participation trophies
  15. If Toronto beats Oakland, we have the best win % in the league again. How?
  16. That's debatable. But I think we can all agree that "ugly" wins are better than not winning at all
  17. Even the ugliest girls get prom dates. Even the ugliest wins make up ground in the standings
  18. See ya tomorrow bud! Now I can finally go running. Been waiting to go since about 3
  19. It's the Orioles, without their ace. Not the worst team to test mojo against
  20. Yes! I'll be a registered MA voter in about a month
  21. It's not how, it's how many. And that is a HUGE one to add to the W column!
  22. He's good for a huge game every 6 weeks, and nothing in between
