  1. I still think pulling off a win today would completely stop the bleeding
  2. I hate how long this game is. I've been waiting to go running for a few hours
  3. If every groundball could be hit to Xander, that would be great thanks
  4. Balk? Now this game has seen everything
  5. His defense hasn't been the problem though
  6. As crazy as it sounds, winning this game may be the best possible thing for us. Might straighten us out a little and give us some confidence again
  7. DalbeKKKKKKK (plus a few hundred more)
  8. If he was lights out, then maybe that would be acceptable. MAYBE
  9. Please don't ruin such a beautiful day
  10. Hernandez CF Verdugo LF Martinez DH Bogaerts SS Devers 3B Renfroe RF Gonzalez 2B Plawecki C Dalbec 1B Good to see Dugie back in there. Day game after a night game, so Plawecki behind the dish makes sense
  11. Well, as we learned last week, Texas mojo isn't the best
  12. If you lived in New England, nobody would mind
  13. Somebody make a new thread please. 1:10 start today
  14. I don't count anybody that does not know/use proper grammar as an "actual poster." Except dgalehouse of course. He puts in extra space in between periods and new sentences, but he makes me laugh nearly everyday.
  15. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Even the worst MLB teams still win 50-60 games. Tigers had lost 13 of 15. They had to win at some point; I was just hoping it wouldn't be against us. I knew that both the Yanks and Sox probably wouldn't sweep them, so I was hoping they would steal one in NY before coming here. In my mind, there's nobody to really blame for this one. Sure, blame Whitlock if you want to, or the offense for leaving people on. Renfroe left them loaded in the 6th, but he's still swinging it well. Xander left them loaded in the 9th, but he hit a rocket. Nothing wrong with the start from Perez either; that's about what we can expect from him each time out. I thought for a brief minute there in the 7th, 9th, and 10th that we had a chance of stealing this one. Let's bring the bats this afternoon to help Nate regain form, and then go to our favorite road ballpark to play in over the years and put another beating on the Orioles. We will not face Means this time around, since he pitched yesterday and they are off today.
  16. We must lead the league in infield hits against
  17. Good news is the Detroit bullpen is worse than ours
