Rookies of the year were never more more obvious. Trout and Harper. I'm saying that Middlebrooks would be it if Trout was in AAA or something.

Just a typical day for the Sox.

He has a fractured wrist and is probably out for the year. If you ask me he was a valid ROTY candidate if Mike Trout wasn't in the bigs. He was the most dependable Sox player this year and it's sad to see him go.

Posednik is a quality player. He just doesn't hit for power. He can hit, has speed, and plays good defense.

Crawford is playing really well, Aviles is having a career year, Shoppach sucks, and Punto is an excuse for a MLB player. With Middlebrooks done, Valencia should be the starter. If they get rid of Aviles, Ciriaco can play short, and Lavarnway can back up Salty. I want them to keep Crawford and Aviles though.

Hope you don't mind Thunder's mojo. We got Doubront (10-5, 4.56) vs Jimenez (8-11, 5.29) going tonight. For the record, with my mojo this year, the Sox are 6-2. WIN!!!!

I'm anticipating that Morales starts in place of Cook on Saturday.

Whatever we say has no impact on the team. Let's just look to the immediate future. We can easily get back to .500 with Doubront and Buchholz and if we do well enough on this trip we can move up in the standings. We have 3 with the O's and 3 with the Skanks. If we go 4-2 combined we gain at least one game on each team. The Yankees are on the edge of collapsing and the O's have the same problems as the Sox but less injuries. I am expecting at least 3 out of 4 from the Tribe this weekend and as much as a 7-3 road trip.

Just for the record, first 3 games of the Guardians series feature Doubront, Buchholz and probably Cook/Morales. Doubront and Buchholz also go against the O's but after Beckett starts. Yankees series after that looks like Cook, Lester, Beckett. When they get Ortiz back, things WILL start to turn around.

It's like they don't want to do anything to move up in the standings. They still have a mathematical chance.
