But Buchholz should be a boost to the rotation. The All-Star will be limited to 75-80 pitches initially but has time to build up for the postseason. Buchholz is 6-5, 2.53 in 15 career starts against the Rays, 3-3, 2.48 in eight starts at Tropicana Field ... Price is 2-1, 2.55 in four starts against the Red Sox this season, 10-5, 2.98 in 19 career starts. Price was hit hard (14 IP, 17 H, 9 ER) in two starts on Tampa Bay's recent 3-7 West Coast trip ...
