Since Reddick does not have enough ABs for his outstanding average to count does that mean it does not factor in to the .276 (#1 BA!!) that you see on ESPN??
GO ELLSBURY!!!!!
So thats 4 players hitting .300 or better? Sucks Ortiz just dropped out of the 300 club. -- I guess actually its 3 players cause Reddick doesn't have enough AB to qualify.
PEDROIA!!!
20 game hitting streak. Longest hitting streak in the American, beating Ellsbury by 1 game. Moves his average over .300 for the first time this season. Pedroia = my role model.
It's funny, I don't think Lackey started that rough at all. Yes, 3 hits & 1 ER. However, the inning looked a lot more rough than it really was b/c Ichiro got the single on the first pitch and then stole 2nd and 3rd so quickly and 3rd uncontested. If it weren't for his steals he may have never scored. The steals are more on Salty -- or I on Lackey's slow delivery (if he has a slow one.) Anyway -- not *too rough.
Jacoby Ellsbury, CF
Dustin Pedroia, 2B
Adrian Gonzalez, 1B
Kevin Youkilis, 3B
David Ortiz, DH
Carl Crawford, LF
Josh Reddick, RF
Jarrod Saltamacchia, C
Marco Scutaro, SS
That's one helluva' lineup!! (boo @ marco but no one else to play for us there)
Jacoby is starting to look like he deserves $20mill a year. So is Dustin Pedroia.
What will we do about them? I think we need to keep those two, hands-down! Fenway ticket prices might be on the rise soon...
