    I wonder if the funk this offense has been in and out of all season is now stuck in their heads. a lot of it is probably mental especially for gonzo.

    Wish Iglesias could get some ABs. The least he'd be is better defense & similar bat to Aviles. Beckett with the rough start and then looks like the real pitcher he is. 1st inning blew.

    Beckett could be solid from here on out maybe he'll go 7ip/4er but the offense needs to give him support they never give him support.

    When they showed the stat of Reyes vs Beckett 1-14 .071 avg I was thinking beckett would be a lock for 7ip/1er... didn't see this coming at all.

    They were. I read that everything in the stadium is written in both english & spanish, too. Stadium looks worth visiting for sure but crazy colors.

    Wish V had WMB in there, but I guess @NL stadium makes it tough to fit everyone. Need to DL Pedroia to let him heal up. I'd hate to see everyone come back from the DL & Pedroia head to it. Better to have them all back near each other than risk further issues with Pedroia.

    Adrian continues to suck. Maybe when we bought him he didn't realize his talent was supposed to be part of the package.

    Ellsbury will need another 32 homers in half a season & CC to perform super-TB-esque for this team to go somewhere. and lester needs to learn to pitch again. GO PATRIOTS

    who likes a losing team? I believe this team can make the playoffs but WS is out of grasp.

    This team has the record of a team being supported by part-timers, minor leaguers, and mediocre inconsistent pitching. Being six games out sucks but this team is capable of stringing some wins together and going on 7 of 10 runs. The other day when Doubront was falling apart I found myself wishing Buchholz could pitch two days straight. I think Beckett & Buchholz can anchor the rotation. Lester needs to figure out why the 3rd & 4th innings are so tough. When Ross, CC, Ellsbury return I think this team will get some new life amd motivation in them. As for Gonzalez, he just needs to earn his paycheck. Not sure why a guy with that kind of consistently proven talent/capability is in the gutter so bad. Maybe it's the pressure of that paycheck. Anyway, sox sure look s***** right now but for what kind of injuries they've sustained and creating pitchers out of Doubront and Bard they are at about where any of us should expect them, especially playing in the AL f***in' East.
