    for ONE-HUNDRED FIFTY-FOUR MILLION DOLLARS ($154mm) Gonzalez shouldn't be in a horrific slump (compared to his career average) for half-a-season. It was a good sign, not for that much money though. The contract should include goals he has to reach each year to make the maximum for that year. If he falls below said goals or averages he gets less that year. I mean, I'm glad he is on our team since his average performance is sure to return. But for that much money? Bust. Who honestly lives up those kind of contracts?

    We can't get upset about letting Youk go. It WAS TIME! WMB is at the door. Youk was not producing in the least. And even if WMB isn't the guy it could be Xander soon. However, that's f***ing stupid that we got dog s*** for Youk. Even if his #s were down... he was like one of the top 5 players 2007-2010, or 11. so i mean... f***ing dumb. FO shoulda pushed better or just sat his ass.

    2.44 or something similar ERA on this road trip. Offense failed us. Still, SP is needed & offense needs consistency. Perhaps CC & Ellsbury will bring that to the table. If Dustin Pedroia were 100% that'd be helpful. I sure wish he'd hit the DL but now with the yankees coming up... ugh, we need him out there injured or not. Adrian Gonzalez is being an *******.
