  1. Is anybody else worried that we're gonna see Bard tonight?
  2. Can we just submit the Sox as the AL all-star team?
  3. f*** that dude in the first row.
  4. Ughh. Up 2-0 and strikes out.
  5. Cmon now Salty, little 2-out damage
  6. AHHH! So close...
  7. Heres the "problem". 6 all-star hitters. 5 "top" spots. The math doesnt work so someone has to hit 6th. The only two candidates for this spot are crawford and pedroia. Personally I would rather have Crawford there then Pedey simply based on the fact that Crawford has more pop in his bat then pedey does. And with Gonzo, Youk, and Papi all hitting for good averages he shold get a tonne of RBI oppertunities. Plus with the 2B and 3B he hits he sets the table for lowrie hitting 7. So now a pitcher has to be worried about 7 hitters in the lineup.
  8. I think if Wakefield can give us something like 6 IP, 3 ER, 5 H, 2 BB, 2 K then we'll be fine. But with him its always impossible to predict.
  9. Just end it. Who cares about the rest of this game?
  10. How is there anybody even left at the game?
  11. Hey I made double A. Moving up in the organization
  12. I understand, I know it wasnt serious but I couldnt help having flashbacks to last year:(
  13. Dont even joke about that
  14. This almost isnt fun to watch anymore
  15. Anybody who thinks Drew desrves to be above CC in the lineup clearly doesnt watch the games and just reads the box score the next morning. Fine Drews overall stats and Crawfords overall stats are similar with Drew being slightly ahead, but if you watch them play side by side, you can tell who the better hitter is. Yes, Crawford isnt the most patient hitter in the world but neither is Drew. Crawford hits to all fields and with solid power. Plus with his wheels any ball in the gap is automatically 2 or 3 bags. That samelogic applies when Crawford is on the paths. Not only is he a threat to steal literally every pitch but he can score from 1st on plays that Drew would have to hustle to 2nd on and would probably get thrown out at 3rd. Someone tell me please, why any other club would have any reason to be afraid when good ol' J.D. comes to the plate?
  16. Here's the problem with moving CC up in the line-up. Theres no where for him to go. He's certainly not leading off with Elss hitting around .300 and stealing 17 bases. Pedroia is the emotional leader on the team and takes great at-bats in clutch spots so you defanitly want him getting to the dish 4-5 times a night. Gonzalez is our best hitter so he should hit 3rd, you want a guarentee that he's getting up in the 1st inning. Spots 4 and 5 arent a good spot for him because he doesnt have the power that Youk/Ortiz have. 6 is the farthest he moves up. If he hits 6th then he gets his RBI oppertunities with A-Gon, Youk hitting in front of him cause they're always on base. And if we hit Lowrie 7 then it opens Crawford up to get his steals again because Lowrie can hit with 2 strikes. Then we hit Salty and Drew 8th and 9th respectivley. Drew sucks across the board at the dish.
  17. Tek walks, Crawford hits a GS.
  18. Carmona is RATTLED.
  19. Carmona has problems spotting that fastball on the inside to LHH.
  20. Nice jump there.
  21. From what I've read, this was a scheduled day off for Pedroia anyway. It's not really a big deal, sure sutton is gonna go 0 for 4 but Carmona has been strugguling so A-Gon, Youk, Ells, Papi and even CC have a good shot at having big nights offensivly. Defensivly, Sutton is obviously no Pedroia but as long as he makes the plays he should make (no errors) we'll be fine. 5-2 Red Sox.
  22. Crawford is gonna get set up for the walk off
