    IMO BS is not the solution. We need to trade for a catcher who can hit decently. BS could be one of the pices involved for that trade. Wonder what do we need to give up to land a guy like Salvador Perez.

    Is it just me or this series vs NYY is probably the most expected for the fans and the media in several years —considering both teams are the best in baseball.

    It’s not an encouraging match up. Pomeranz vs current NY line up is 304/370/478/848 ... but what worries me more is how New York is hitting and how Pom has pitched this season. On the bright side he has lost only 1 game in his last 5 starts vs NY and has a GmSc of 41(L), 51(W) & 54(W) in his last three starts in Yankee Stadium. If we take this game, we win the series.

    How many errors do we have? How many from Devers and Nuñez? Don’t get me wrong, I love Devers, but at 3B he is exposed. I think he will be our future 1B. Pedroia will improve our infield.

    Defensively, he is not going to get better. The skills are there or aren’t. He doesn’t have the required skills and body to handle the 3B
