  1. Very informative, as if I couldn't look at the numbers myself.
  2. So, to those who've actually seen the game. How did Lackey pitch overall?
  3. f***. Still, he gets through the 6th and that's a quality start and exactly what we need from him.
  4. Providing he doesn't blow up in the 6th, that'll be 3 solid starts out of his last 4.
  5. Now that the Red Sox have put me in a good mood, I'm going to go play MLB 2k10 whilst listening to Lady Antebellum and checking the game day periodically. Yeah, I triple task, because I'm f***ing awesome.
  6. So much for good pitching always beating good hitting eh?
  7. He's on pace for 25 lol
  8. I so hope we find a way to resign Ells.
  9. Looking back at the summary, it looks like Scutaro f***ed him a bit. Fair to say?
  10. A lot of teams have been looking at Ubaldo. I'm surprised Colorado is even considering it. Even if they're out of it, he's the kind of guy you could build around. Stats say he's been a bit unlucky this year.
  11. So, is this the "I'm getting shellacked" Lackey or the "Rough start but settling down" Lackey so far?
  12. Why would anyone wanna do that? Did he hang out with Ron Washington during the break?
  13. Let's go Toronto, f*** Rivera and his cutter.
  14. Cut that s*** out man, let's not dwell on this crap. We'll drive ourselves insane.
  15. I don't think Reddick's as good as he's hitting right now. He used to be a top prospect then disappeared and has been a sub-standard hitter in the minors. Anderson is interesting because the Cubs aren't exactly locked down at first base and it isn't a guarantee that they'll land Pujols or Fielder but he hasn't been hitting that well in AAA the past 2 years but he's still just 23 years old and it wasn't long ago that he was being spoken of as our 1st baseman of the future. Scouting report says his defensive is meh but he's not awful and he projects as a decent power threat in the bigs. Has some kinks to work out but he's got potential. I think he could be part of a deal.
  16. I'd give them Weiland, Reddick, and maybe Lavarnway. Depends on what they want. I'm just reluctant about Kalish because I think he's the team's starting RF'er next season.
  17. Beckett and Lester are gonna be themselves, Lackey I can still see coming back for a strong 2nd half, Wake just needs to stay healthy and he's an entirely serviceable 4 guy and I'm all for throwing Ace into the rotation until the deadline where we can add a starter. Buch's extended absence is a big blow but I think we have an excellent enough offense and solid enough pitching depth to weather the storm until he returns.
  18. Well that's disconcerting. Still, I think we can hold down the fort until he returns. This does seem to solidify our need for another starter though. At least he's making progress.
  19. That's one deal I would give up good prospects to make. Baker and Garza. Garza is young, under control for more than just this season, an innings eater, and can pitch well in the AL East while Baker hammers lefties at a fantastic rate but on the other hand, his defensive seems substandard. Still, I'd give up some solid pieces to get Garza, not Kalish though.
  20. I really want Garza, the Cubs say they aren't interested but I hear Jim Hendry is quite retarded so maybe a package that lands us both him and Baker?
  21. Who the hell is Randy Williams?
