Apparently they think we wouldn't have been patient with Masterson's development. Maybe we just viewed him as an expendable piece because we were trying to pry their catcher away from the bleak situation that was Cleveland Guardians baseball.

They are a funny bunch. Ayala over Aceves, Cano over Pedey, Gardner shits over Ellsbury. They do tend to tend to think that Theo rapes Cash as a GM though, I can't say I disagree.

I wouldn't trust any of them. Zambrano, last time I checked, is in the midst of the worst year of his career and is expensive and I'm sure Fenway wouldn't be kind to his numbers.

I would not feel comfortable with him pitching for us at all, but if Chicago ate the salary and gave him up for peanuts, I'd take a flier on him. So in other words, I doubt he's coming to the Red Sox.

You're being irrational, he isn't the only guy who's been through this. Think about what must've been going through his head the first chunk of the season, "I'm making 20 mil a year playing for the Red Sox, we're supposed to win it all this year and a lot of that conjecture is because of me. I have to perform out of the gate" and then when he starts off slow, he starts pressing and it gets worse. Sure, .245 isn't pretty, but he brought it up from .150. Cut him some slack, we'll get what we paid for.
