  1. This team is monumentally s***** the last few series. The bullpen's been blowing up, Beckett's hurt, and Lackey is starting to revert back to the first half version that everyone wanted to run out of town. Not even me, in all my widly apologist and optimistic glory, am going to try and say we've been anything but s*****. This, in my opinion, is one of the worst streaks since the 2-10. I do believe this team is gonna make the playoffs and make some noise once they get there, but the Sox need to start playing like a team that belongs beneath the bright lights of October baseball. One positive is that New York hasn't exactly pulled away from us, the division is still very winnable. They've had tons of chances to widen their lead in the division and they haven't done so, they're letting us hang around. If we can just get our s*** back together and play to the level this team has been performing at for most of the year, we could find ourself back in 1st very quickly. Go Sox! Stop losing!
  2. That was a brutally nasty breaking ball.
  3. I'd rather face Verlander twice in a series, you've got to win 3 games and I think Lester or Beckett can match up with him. Texas scares me considering how well they do against the Sox.
  4. Well Crawford missed time, Wheeler, Lackey, Youk, hell I even think Dice K would be useful for something considering how much of a mess Miller and Wake are now. Injuries and the 2-10 start, neither are helping us in the divisional race.
  5. If it weren't for all the injuries, we wouldn't have the slightest of worries about the division right now.
  6. Dice-K is a reminder not to deal with Scott Boras.
  7. The only reason NY is ahead of us is A. Because we dropped the ball during that series, we had chances in games 1 and 3 but couldn't cash in, it wasn't us getting beat but us beating ourselves and B. The 2-10 start, if we win a couple more games during that stretch, we're sitting in first right now with a decent lead.
  8. Glad to see Crawford beat some ass today, haven't been around to keep up with the last 2 games against Texas. Sucks to be in 2nd to those animals in NY but I guess I can take comfort in the fact that if, during that 2-10 start in April, we'd one a couple or so more games, we'd have a decent lead in the division.
  9. Well if we lose, I can't watch MLBN for a couple days with all the talk about how "The Yanks stepped up and beat the Sox, AJ was solid and they got over the hump" when in reality it's more like "The Red Sox fell over themselves and lost the games on their own."
  10. Well, the umpires screw us again. This is ********. Complete ********, I've never seen a team get more lucky than these jerkoffs have in this series. I hope New York fans aren't happy right now, they've been nothing but lucky. This is ********, no other way to describe it. Girardi f***ed a leperchaun before this series.
  11. NO!!!! f*** THAT!!!! He should've been out on strikes! UMPIRES ARE ****S!!!!
  12. Would you please give him a damn call?
  13. Daniel Bard coming in to shut these bitches down.
  14. BARD TIME BITCHES!!!!!
  15. Hit him my ass. More luck for these ****s. Please bring in Bard, this is a game where you can justify pitching him more than 1 inning.
  16. Throw strikes Alfredo.
  17. f*** this kid up Ace, he's nothing.
  18. Now for a DP from the overrated catching prospect.
  19. Anybody else want to Falcon Punch Jones because of that permiment smirk of his?
  20. Sit down you douche.
  21. I'm just gonna say this regarding CC, I'm not getting into a huge argument but there's just one point I want to make. Go and look at his numbers from his time in Tampa, then go look at the stats from his 1 season with the Red Sox. While being rational and objective, tell me which is more of an indicator of how he is going to perform in the future.
  22. Still not as good as Ellsbury.
