    Lackey has a 2.50 WHIP thus far. I hope he gets another inning or two in, don't get me wrong, but he's been hit really hard today.

    Nobody has called for a reliever, at least not that I've seen. Saying he's having a really bad outing is not anything that should surprise anyone. He's given up 4 runs in 4 innings while dancing out of trouble the whole time after being spotted 6 runs before he took the field.

    If he's going to give it up I would rather him give it up early so we have time to rebound. He's just getting milked every inning

    It's not a pause, his right leg swings out first, then up and toward his body, the a pause, then drives to the plate. Herky Jerky may not be the right word. Unorthodox may be a better phrasing.

    To be fair, outside of him being the GM, how else do you know the guy? It's not like you have a personal relationship with him, so virtually your entire opinion of him is based on his performance as a GM. So, if you don't like his moves, it's not like you can say "well I didn't like signing x, but I do like ______" because you (like everyone) have no other knowledge of him. He could be a complete jackass on a personal level, but nobody would know it So, insofacto, his only relevance to your life is as the GM of the Red Sox, so if you don't like him in that light, you don't like him at all.

    Unless something changes, it looks like the Sox will face RHP in their next 9 consecutive games, and in 13 of their next 14 (Only LHP they're scheduled to face is Moore in the 2nd TB series). Sox vs RHP: .288/.362/.484/.847 Sox vs LHP: .251/.333/.404/.737 This bodes well for the Sox, especially since they've got a pretty tough schedule in June, at least the next 14 games (3 @ TB, 4 @ BAL, 3 v TB, 4 @ DET).
