    I'm not entirely surprised by the offensive sluggishness tonight. Pedroia always says that it's not the game immediately after the long night of traveling that gets you, but rather it's the following game, which is tonight.

    Surprisingly, Tek hits .276/.350/.426 against LHP, so I don't mind him in there tonight. Salty hits .219/.275/.370 vs LHP. But then again, Tek is also 5 for his last 36, and Salty has a .937 OPS since the ASB. Tough call.

    I'm really excited to see Bedard throw tomorrow. I think we're finally going to kind of take the training wheels off of him after his DL stint and let him go, see how he does with 100 pitches. Last outing, even giving up those 3 runs via the little bitch hits, he was still extremely efficient (~70 pitches over 5 IP IIRC). If he can do that tomorrow, he should get through 7 easy, and then hand it over to the bullpen. After seeing Lackey perform well against the Yankees, if Bedard can come out and throw well tomorrow, that huge SP question mark that we had 2 weeks ago may be starting to mend itself together now that the dirt is beginning to settle.

    I'm not going to argue anymore about it. All I'm going to say is that if you're going to call someone out, at least call them out on a type of thread where you actively participate. Nobody goes into the "What kind of music are you listening to?" and drops F bombs or anything.

    I missed most of this game, but glad to see we're winning. I saw Papi had a huge game, and Aceves blew Wake's chance at 200. Anything else significant that I missed?
