    Well I didn't mention Hamels because it doesn't matter if you throw Bedard or Lackey, we're at a severe disadvantage. The only way we could potentially match up #3 with #3 against the Phils is if Buchholz comes back, which is entirely possible for him to return by late October if he starts a rehab program on September 1.

    Lackey v Sabathia, Beckett v Hughes, Lester v Burnett? Another Red Sox sweep wouldn't surprise me in the least. I can't wait for the Sox offense to remind Hughes and all the Yankees fans just how bad he sucks.

    How the hell have the Sox played FOUR more games than the Yankees with 31 to play?? That seems ridiculous. The fact that the Sox have won all 4 gives them a significant advantage down the home stretch, IMO.

    Hey fellas. I'll be in Boston on Wednesday night for the Sox/Yanks game, but don't have tickets until the Thursday game. Is there a good bar to go to around Fenway for the game? I want to be at least around the game, figured there has to be a couple sweet bars around town.

    I believe they're supposed to have 5 games against BAL. It was originally a 4 game series, then they were making up a rainout. So this really throws a wrench in their plans. They supposedly will make up the extra game on Sept 8th. Not sure if they will have another day off after that.
