    Christ man. You're not listening to me. You qualified the 2 good starts as being good "for a #3". All I said was that they are 2 good starts even for an ace. It's not like 7 IP/2 ER is a mediocre start for an ace. That's still an excellent start, regardless of a pitchers position in the rotation.

    If he's pulled now, that's 2 starts in a row of 7 IP, 2 ER. That would be a 2.57 ERA. That's not just good for a #3. If you get a SP who can throw to a 2.57 ERA, he's an ace.

    You can't overcome a 12-19 start in 20 games. This team is 14-6 in their last 20 games. If they hold on tonight, they'll be 15-6, which is .714 baseball (116 wins over 162 games). They're playing at an extremely high level right now, especially with the injuries they've sustained this year. Keep playing like this, and keep winning series, and they'll be just fine. Danny Knobler tweeted earlier today he spoke with a scout who was recently watching the Red Sox. The scout said that if the Sox get healthy, they'll win the AL East.

    Buchholz's career as a pitcher revolves around his changeup. If his change is working, he's an extremely talented, top of the rotation pitcher. If it's not, he's an average, back of the rotation pitcher.

    So, the O's are facing the Rays right now. They are tied for 1st. Are you cheering for the O's because you despise the Rays, and see the O's as a non-threat, or are you cheering for the Rays?

    I would expect to see a lot of guys traded away. Guys like Podsednik, Morales, Byrd, and Youkilis will all likely get traded by the deadline, when Ellsbury, Crawford, and Bailey are back.
